The Facilities
The Developing Strength programme will be held within the Performance Suite in the main building at the Regional Performance Centre while the Speed programme will take place in the Indoor Athletics Straight.


Meet the Coaches

Dr Andrew Marley FHEA, CSCS
Andrew has over a decade of S&C experience and has worked with a variety of sports and athletes including but not limited to para-athletes, professional boxers, professional mixed martial artists and professional football players. He also has undertaken consultancy roles with various organisations and national governing bodies. Andrew is currently a lecturer in strength and conditioning and sport science at Abertay University, obtaining his PhD in 2022. As a lecturer, he is the programme tutor for the Strength and Conditioning degree, with a keen emphasis on developing the future of the strength and conditioning profession.

Callum McGregor
Callum is a UKSCA accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach. His coaching background covers a range of populations, from kids and older adults to University of Dundee sports scholars competing across multiple sports. Currently he serves as the Strength and Conditioning Coach/ Coordinator at the University of Dundee while also researching performance adaptions to sprint interval training.

Graham Thom
Graham brings over 15 years of experience working with athletes and has been UKSCA accredited since 2016. Holding a PhD in exercise physiology, he specializes in improving team sports performance through high-intensity training. Graham’s expertise spans athletes from beginners to international competitors. He’s currently the Head of Academy Sports Science at Dundee FC, having led the strength and conditioning team for six years.
